....The construction update is as follows:
The work required for the sewage and water project in the Center Village of Chelsea is now expected to start Monday August 31st on Old Chelsea Road at the intersection of Padden Road. Padden Road is the road beside the coffee shop.
Old Chelsea Road will be closed completely between Padden and Scott Road (the corner of Mamma Teresa’s restaurant).
The work will take between 2 to 3 weeks.
The best way to reach the coffee shop will be to come from Scott Road, then down along Padden Road to our parking lot. Alternately, customers can park along Old Chelsea Road - near the Church and STO lot.
Due to the fact that the construction will most certainly affect traffic flow, as well as the enjoyment of sitting in the garden,
this week we will be open:
- 7 am until noon on weekdays (except Tuesday)
- 8 am until 6 pm. on weekends.
We will continue to evaluate the impacts of construction on the coffee shop and we will adjust our hours accordingly.

Les travaux d’infrastructures en eaux usées et potable prévus dans le Centre-Village débuteront le 31 août prochain sur le chemin Old Chelsea à l’intersection du chemin Padden (la rue à côté du café).
Chemin Old Chelsea entre les chemins Padden et Scott – Fermeture complète
Ces travaux devraient se poursuivre sur une période de deux à trois semaines. La circulation ne sera pas possible pour cette période sur le chemin Old Chelsea entre les chemins Scott et Padden. Les détours en place devront donc être empruntés.
Comme la construction affectera certainement la circulation cette semaine, ainsi que la possibilité de profiter du jardin,
nos heures d'ouverture seront comme suit :
-de 7 h à midi tous les jours (sauf mardi);
-de 8 h à 18 h au cours du week-end.
Nous évaluerons régulièrement les impacts de la construction et ajusterons les heures en conséquence.
